About The Team

In order to meet our ambitious goals, we are searching for an Accountant to join our Accounting team to help provide and maintain accurate, up-to-date financial information for our key clients and part of our consulting services. You’ll be working with a small, dedicated team which services both European and US based clients. We are looking for eager individuals to join our team!

What you will do in this role:

The Accountant’s primary role will be to maintain and record the day-to-day financial transactions for one or more of our top direct clients. You will be assisting with bookkeeping, tracking expenses, budgets, taxes, cash flow, receipts and other financial dealings on behalf of the Company’s Key clients. This position offers the right candidate to professionally grow within our organization and the opportunity to expand their knowledge of US GAAP accounting.

Collaborate with different departments to support overall department goals and objectives.
Assisting in recording intercompany booking and eliminations.
Preparation of balance sheet and bank reconciliations - A/R and A/P
Prepare all required journal entries and general ledger maintenance using Quickbooks
Filing and providing general administrative support as well as creating accounting reports when requested by management.
Assist in various duties related to the internal financial controlling process and collaborating with our client’s external accounting firms.
Perform these duties for Crossvallia’s clients potentially with multi-national exposure.
Other related duties as assigned by the Company

What you will bring to this role:

Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
5+ years of experience in a similar position
Proficiency experience with such applications as Microsoft Office and accounting software such as Quickbooks.
Experience with multi-currency and multi-company accounting
Understanding of double booking
Proven organizational skills
English proficiency is a must (C2 level)
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and attention to details & deadlines
Ability to work under pressure and to easily flow with changes to priorities and projects
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-performance organization

The Position

This is a full-time, remote role for candidates located in Croatia and Bosnia.
